Tip: Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on Mac) runs it, from the list or from the page.

How it works

  1. Keep all 20 insects or choose the Garden or Night preset.
  2. Spin and read the insect that lands.
  3. Look for it outside, draw it, or find one fact about it.

What people use it for

  • Bug hunt

Spin, then go outside and see who spots the insect first, from a distance.

  • Science class

Each student researches the insect that lands and shares one fact.

  • Drawing practice

Spin and draw the insect from memory, then compare it with a photo.

Questions

Are all of them true insects?
The list is made of everyday insects. Spiders, worms and snails are not insects and are left out. Look up a species before you handle it.
Is it safe to touch these?
Some insects bite or sting. The wheel only picks a name — look and photograph, and ask an adult before handling any bug.
