Pasta Wheel

Pasta night but no idea which shape? Spin for a random one, then choose the sauce that goes with it.

Tip: Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on Mac) runs it, from the list or from the page.

How it works

  1. Remove the shapes you don't have in the cupboard, or choose the Long pasta or Short pasta preset.
  2. Spin and read the pasta that lands.
  3. Pick a sauce for it — or spin again if the shape is missing.

What people use it for

  • Weeknight dinner

Stop the “pasta again?” loop: the wheel picks the shape, you pick the sauce.

  • Cooking with kids

Let a child spin and help cook whatever lands.

  • Pantry clear-out

Keep only the shapes you still have and use up the half-empty packets.

Questions

Does it suggest a sauce?
No, it only picks a shape. Sauces and cooking times depend on the brand and your recipe: follow the packet.
Can I add a shape I like?
Yes. Edit the list, one shape per line; it is saved on this device.
