Addition Facts Wheel
A spinning wheel of addition facts like “7 + 5” for fluency practice — every sum from 1 + 1 to 10 + 10, plus focused presets.
Tip: Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on Mac) runs it, from the list or from the page.
How it works
- Press Spin and read the fact aloud; students answer before you spin again.
- Keep “Remove winner after each spin” on so a fact is not asked twice in the same round.
- Switch to Up to 10, Doubles or Make 10 for younger learners, or paste your own facts.
What people use it for
Fact fluency
Short daily rounds of addition facts help children move from counting on fingers to instant recall.
Small-group station
One student spins, the others answer with counters or a number line, then roles rotate.
Number bonds to 10
The Make 10 preset drills the pairs (3 + 7, 4 + 6…) that mental math relies on.
Questions
- Which facts are on the default wheel?
- Every addition of two numbers from 1 to 10, in both orders, so 100 facts with sums from 2 to 20.
- Is every fact equally likely?
- Yes. Each fact is one slice and the draw uses your browser's cryptographic random generator.
