Multiplication Wheel
Spin, read the fact out loud, and let students race to the answer — all 66 facts from 2 × 2 to 12 × 12, or a single times table.
Tip: Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on Mac) runs it, from the list or from the page.
How it works
- Press Spin: a fact such as “7 × 8” lands, and the class or a student gives the answer.
- Leave “Remove winner after each spin” on so each fact is asked only once until you restore the wheel.
- Pick a preset to drill a single table (×2 to ×12), from 1 to 12, or paste your own facts one per line.
What people use it for
Math warm-up
Five spins at the start of the lesson: students write the answer on a mini whiteboard before the next spin.
Table of the week
Load the ×7 preset and spin until every fact of the table has come up once.
Homework practice
Share the wheel link with families so kids can quiz themselves at home with the same facts.
Questions
- Why is 8 × 7 missing when 7 × 8 is there?
- The default wheel keeps one version of each pair (66 facts) so no product comes up twice. The single-table presets list n × 1 to n × 12 in full.
- Does the wheel show the answer?
- No. Only the fact is shown, so students have to work out the product themselves.
- Can I add facts with 0 or beyond 12?
- Yes. Edit the list or paste your own facts, one per line, such as “0 × 9” or “13 × 4”.
