Initiative Tracker
Add your heroes and monsters with their initiative, sort the order automatically, and tap Next turn to move through the round — for D&D, Pathfinder or any tabletop RPG.
The list stays in this tab: reloading the page clears it.
Round 1
- 17GoblinUp nowbonus +2
- 12Fighterbonus +1
- 9Wizardbonus +3
Dice use your browser's cryptographic random generator.
How it works
- Type a name and an initiative value, or enter a bonus and press Roll d20 to roll it for the combatant.
- The list sorts itself from highest to lowest initiative. Ties go to the higher bonus, then to who was added first.
- Press Next turn to pass the spotlight along. When everyone has acted, the round counter goes up by one.
- Adjust initiative with +1 / −1, re-roll, or remove a combatant who has fallen. Press Restart combat to go back to round 1.
What people use it for
Dungeons & Dragons
Run fights without a notepad: add the party and monsters, roll for the monsters and keep the table moving.
Other tabletop systems
Use any initiative number — Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu or your own house rules.
Online and in-person play
Keep one visible turn order on a shared screen so nobody asks whose turn it is.
Questions
- How are the dice rolled?
- The d20 roll comes from your browser's cryptographic random generator, using rejection sampling so each face from 1 to 20 is equally likely. The total shown is the roll plus the bonus you entered.
- How are ties ordered?
- Higher initiative acts first. If two combatants tie, the one with the higher bonus goes first, and if that also ties, the one added earlier goes first. If your table settles ties differently, nudge the value by 1 with the +1 / −1 buttons.
- What happens if I remove the combatant whose turn it is?
- The turn passes to the next combatant in the order. If the removed one was last, the round counter goes up and the first combatant is up.
