How it works

  1. Set the start time and, if there is one, a hard deadline such as a venue curfew.
  2. List the items one per line, as title, comma, length: Welcome, 5 or First set, 45m or Speech, 3:30.
  3. Add a gap in minutes between items for changeovers if you need one.
  4. Read the schedule, the finish time and the slack, then copy the list to share it.

What people use it for

  • Weddings and parties

Fit speeches, dinner and dancing before the venue closes at midnight.

  • Bands and DJs

Lay out a setlist with changeovers and see whether the last song fits the slot.

  • Meetings and workshops

Print an agenda with start times instead of lengths.

Questions

Which lengths can I type?
5 or 5m for minutes, 1.5h or 1h30m for hours, 3:30 for minutes and seconds, 1:02:03 for hours, minutes and seconds. An item can last up to 24 hours.
What if the show runs past midnight?
Times wrap around the clock and the rows after midnight are marked +1 day. A deadline earlier than the start time, or equal to it, is understood as the next day, so 01:00 with a 20:00 start means 1 a.m. the following morning.
Is the gap added after the last item?
No. The gap is added between items only, so the finish time is when the last item ends.
