Tally Counter

Counting heads at the door, laps on the track or birds in the garden is easy until you lose track. Add a counter for each thing, tap to count and copy the numbers when you are done.

How it works

  1. Add a counter for each thing you count and give it a name.
  2. Tap + to add one, or choose a step such as 5 or 10 for faster counting.
  3. Tap − to correct a mistake. A counter never goes below 0.
  4. Read the total and copy all the counts at the end.

What people use it for

Count arrivals, adults and children separately and see the overall total.

  • Sport and fitness

Count laps, reps or sets without losing your place.

  • Surveys and nature notes

Tally answers or sightings by category while you are out.

Questions

Are my counts saved?
No. They live on this page only, so reloading or closing the tab clears them. Copy the counts before you leave. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What is the highest count?
One billion. A counter stops there, and it stops at 0 when you go down, so a slip of the finger never gives a negative count.
Can I count in steps?
Yes. Choose a step of 1, 5, 10 or 100 and the + and − buttons add or take away that many. The step applies to every counter.
How many counters can I have?
Up to 12 on one page. Each has its own name and its own reset, and the total adds them all together.
