Questions

How is the unit price calculated?
Price ÷ (quantity × number of packs), converted to grams or millilitres and multiplied by 100. For items counted one by one, it is the price per piece.
Can I compare grams with millilitres?
No. Weight and volume cannot be converted without knowing the density, so the tool asks you to compare products of the same kind: all by weight, all by volume or all by count.
Which conversion factors are used?
1 oz = 28.349523125 g, 1 lb = 453.59237 g, 1 US fl oz = 29.5735295625 ml and 1 US gal = 3,785.411784 ml. These are the exact definitions of the units.
