Questions
- How is the deadline computed?
- The clock starts at the next opening time if the start falls outside business hours, then only minutes between opening and closing on working days that are not holidays are counted. 8 hours from Friday 16:00 with a 9:00–17:00 week ends on Monday 16:00 because only one hour is left on Friday.
- What about time zones and daylight saving?
- None are applied. Dates and times are read as the wall-clock office hours of one place, which is how most SLAs are written. If your customer is in another zone, enter the start time in your own office’s time.
- Does a deadline exactly at closing time move to the next day?
- No. Work that uses the last minute of the day ends at the closing time that same day, for example 17:00, not at the next opening.
